A day without Rose

November 13,2010- Kimberly Ness Habaradas-LeaƱo's birthday is one of the most special days of this school year, according to my friends. Because we are free, not being disturbed by only one topic which we sometimes hate , and not being annoyed.
If you notice, some of my friends posted in their blogs the blog " A day without Rose". You will see that each of us are expressing our true feelings with this "Rose".

November 23, 1996 and November 23, 2010

November 23,1996. The day, when I was born. November 23,2010. The day, I did not expect any gifts to be received.

I never thought that I am already 14 years old. I am even older. I wish everything would just should slow down. But I know it won't, because it's life.

I am not ready to be14 yet. Because I think I am not proper for this age yet and I think I'm still young for it.
So, this morning when I woke up, there's this feeling that I can't explain.

CAF-CAE Playfest

The CAF-CAE Playfest upcoming. Many of us are already excited for the play. But us, actresses, we feel very presured. Since some of us have roles that are major.

Like me, for example, our play in CAF is the "Florante at Laura". I have the role of Flerida.  First, I was afraid to audition. But then I had courage to face it, so, I got the part. At first, I was afraid I will not be able to give my best on the role, so I planned for quiting. But then, my classmates inspired on me, so I did it.

Our play in the CAE is a novel. It is called "Hadassah:One Night With The King". For us, it was a very challenging play. Since it came from the Bible, we were afraid we will be wrong in presenting the play. My work as a Props Manager, gives me more pressure. Some of my memebers(props) are not helping at the same time not cooperating. Its really hard, but it's a challenge for me.

We are now experiencing a lot of pressure, but we know our success in our play. And we are looking forward on winning. ☺

Labrador Retrievers and my story

Labrador Retievers are the most friendliest dogs on Earth. They come in different colors, black, white(or gold), and chocolate brown. They cost from $300-$1000 each. They are fast in growing and everyday they move regularly their wastes. They can swim in water.

I have a Labrador Retriever. His color is chocolate-brown. He is already 10 months old. He was born on January 30 2010. He is now big and he is already a "teenage" dog, according to the  book "Labrador Retrievers for Dummies".  We didn't buy him, he was given to us by a doctor which is a friend of my father.
The dog is alrady very big, beacause when he jumps, he reaches up to 3 feet.
Many people say he looks scary, but he is friendly. We didn't train him beacause we were afraid, instead, he trained himself,  and we were amaze by his skills.

Th life span of a dog according to Mary Louise C. Evasco, my friend is 10 years. That's why we give importance to our dog in everyday of his life.

By the way, his name is Chocolate (got it from his color).

volunteering PEACE and giving FORGIVENESS

"LET THEIR BE PEACE ON EARTH, AND LET IT BEGIN WITH ME" - this part of the song which I heard from our music class really struck me. The song explains in my case that you need to be the first one to say sorry to that person even though you didn't do anything wrong. It's good that you will be the first one ot move before anything "breaks".

For instance, I am experiencing this at the moment. I am having a terrible time about this. I care for any friendship that I made and will be making. So, whenever their are misunderstandings, I immedietly say "sorry", even though I am the one who is hurt or being hurt ♥ .

busy October

<- this picture is a poster for the Career Week

October 2010 is a really busy month for Assumption-Iloilo. For the school will held the Family Day and I'm not quite sure if Intramurals is included in this month. It's sometimes makes me want to feel that "take a break, have some more time for sleeping". Sometimes I feel very sleepy during the first two subjects in the afternoon. It's not boring, I'm just tired of all the work. I sometimes even forget to study because I instantly go to sleep. Oh, October, it cracks my head. I can't wait 'til it's sem-break. I have 1 week rest.
There are so many things that I have to do. Memorizing Desiderata, cooperating with play practices, practice a presentation for the Family Day with my classmates. Assignments, projects, studies!!!!. I'm feeling a bit of stress. What should I do??

Answer: I don't know ☺

The 13th day

The 13th day movie talks about reality. What I mean is that the movie was based on Sister Maria Lucia De Los Santos' novel. She was one of the 3 children who saw the Virgin Mary in Fatima,Portugal when she was just 10 years old. Together with her is her cousins, namely, Jacinta & Francisco Marto. They saw the Virgin Mary , but the people around them did not believe. Until, the Virgin Mary showed to them the dancing sun for the whole world to see, for Lucia and her cousins begged the Virgin Mary to show a proof to the people that what are they saying is true.

Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. And worse, he's angered a few of them. Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect.

Now Percy and his friends have just ten days to find and return Zeus's stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Blue Bloods Novel and Masquerade(a Blue Bloods Novel)by Melissa de la Cruz

Blue Bloods

Within New York City’s most elite families, there lurks a secret society of celebrated Americans whose ancestors sailed on the Mayflower. They are the powerful and the wealthy—and in fact, they are not human. They are the Blue Bloods, an ancient group of vampires.
Schuyler Van Alen has never fit in at Duchesne, her prestigious New York City private school. She prefers baggy, vintage clothes instead of the Prada and pearls worn by her classmates, and she lives with her reclusive grandmother in a dilapidated mansion. Schuyler is a loner—and happy that way.
But when she turns fifteen, Schuyler’s life changes dramatically. She has a mosaic of blue veins on her arms, and craves raw meat. The death of a popular girl from Duchesne is surrounded by a mystery that haunts her. And strangest off all, Jack Force, the most popular boy in school, is showing a sudden interest in her.
Schuyler wants to find out the secrets the Blue Bloods are keeping. But is she herself in danger?
Steeped in vampire lore and set against the glittery backdrop of New York City, Blue Bloods will be devoured by fans of Melissa de la Cruz.

Masquerade

Schuyler Van Alen wants an explanation for the mysterious deaths of young Blue Bloods. Her search brings her to Venice, Italy, in the hopes of finding the one person who can help. Meanwhile, back in New York, preparations are feverishly underway for the famous Four Hundred Ball, an exclusive gala hosted by the city’s wealthy, powerful, and unhuman—a true Blue Blood affair. But it’s at the after-party masquerade that the true danger lurks. Hidden behind the masks is a revelation that will change the course of a young vampire’s destiny.
Rich with glamour, attitude, and vampire lore, this second installment in the Blue Bloods saga will leave readers thirsty for more.

Assumption-Iloilo: Open House

During the Open House,  people were really roaming around to observe classes. Students from other private and public schools came. Sometimes, we really feel uncomfortable because during the lesson, a group of students are passing by and they look at us, of coarse we understand, that they are observing us while the class was going on. This event occured last July 22-23(24), 2010. And before the Open House began, we were all wondering of what is going to happen. ☺

Assumption-Iloilo:Taize

The Taize that occured last July 16-17, 2010 was very successful beacause many people from other schools and friends of our schoolmates also came. It was a very fun, yet tiring evening because we get to know other people form other schools, shared personal answers, and can't sleep because we need to be awake for the whole night until the morning. Even though sleeping was prohibited, my friends and I slept at least for a few minutes of rest. It was a very memorable event. ☺
